Project Case StudiesThe following are examples of projects utilizing a "mix" of marketing, public relations and social media.
The Senior Advocacy Group of Ahwatukee (SAGA)
We’ve worked with the Senior Advocacy Group of Ahwatukee on several projects over the years.
In 2018, we were retained to help with the promotion of the nonprofit's bi-annual event (scheduled for February of 2019) to feature needed resources for older adults and their families. The campaign resulted in attendance of over 400 and dozens of positive event reviews. After being retained, we immediately contacted a large Phoenix media group to negotiate a media sponsorship. This sponsored entailed providing free event ads along with featured editorial. We also developed an online event registration link using a free tool called Eventbrite to capture contact information used for email event notices and posted the free to the public event on online sites featuring events. In addition, we created and help submit sponsorship packets which in turn created revenue and helped promote the event. We also procured a free TV segment on a popular morning show on ABC in Phoenix. "Call Him Mac: Ernest W. McFarland, the Arizona Years" In March of 2018, Jameson & Associates was retained to assist with the promotion of a new book about Ernest W. "Mac" McFarland by author Gary L. Stuart and published by the University of Arizona Press. McFarland, who served as U.S. Senator, U.S. Senate Majority Leader, Governor of Arizona and a Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court and more, is a beloved figure in Arizona history.
For this project, we coordinated an official reception at book signing at the ASU Beus Center for Law & Society in Phoenix and coordinated 10 book signings for the author. The best-selling book was also featured in 20 newspaper publications, 2 magazines, 6 TV segments and 5 radio interviews. Learn more at www.ewmcfarland.org. The Enigma SeriesWe were able to obtain two free television segments (May of 2018 and August of 2017) on WFAA - Good Morning Texas, ABC, in Dallas - for Texas authors Charles Breakfield and Rox Burkey in promotion of their award-winning series of techno thrillers. www.enigmabookseries.com Murder Ink ProductionsWe were retained in 2015 to assist with the marketing of a murder mystery theatrical company. The veteran company did not have promotional photos. We immediately scheduled a photo shoot with the actors to obtain images of scenes from different murder mystery shows that were to be held at the Forum venue in Chandler.
Armed with creative photos, press releases were submitted to local publications, including the Arizona Republic, East Valley Tribune, the SanTan Sun and numerous other newspapers and TV outlets. Groupon tickets were also created. After a stint on an NBC morning show, the first scheduled event sold out and tickets were pre-sold for future shows. The monthly mystery events were stopped after Murder Ink had a falling out with the event venue on compensation. The Mighty PCLong time clients Ken and Linda Chan, owners of the Mighty PC, were featured in Phoenix Business Journal in August of 2018 and in a cover article in the Arizona Business Gazette on November 9th, 2017, based on our efforts. They have received several new clients as a result of these publications.
